How to Replace the Chrysler 200 “Rounded” Key Fob Battery (2015, 2016, 2017)

What you will need:
1x CR2032 battery
Flathead screwdriver
Step 1
Flip your key fob over and pull the silver switch on the back to release the metal key.
Step 2
Next, look at the bottom of the key fob. Can you see a slot next to the keyhole? Good. Now, insert a flathead screwdriver into this slot and twist it like a key. This will separate each back cover of the device.
Step 3
From here, all you need to do is lift the old battery out of its housing with the same screwdriver. Be gentle not to damage anything!
Step 4
Take a new battery (CR2032) and slide it into place with the positive side down.
Step 5
Finally, click the back cover of the device back together and you’re done.

What you will need:
1x CR2032 battery
Flat-head screwdriver
Step 1
The first thing is to locate the small indentation on the bottom-left side of the key fob.
Step 2
When you find it. insert your flathead screwdriver into this slot, and turn it like a key. Doing this will separate the two halves of the device.
Step 3
Next, carefully remove the rubber piece with the buttons on it.
Step 4
Now that you are inside, use your screwdriver to carefully remove the old battery.
Step 5
Slide in a new battery (CR2032) and install it, keeping the positive side down.
Step 6
This is the final step. Put the rubber piece back in place and click the cover of the device back on. That’s all it takes; nice work!
Test your new battery: lock and unlock your car doors or push start button to see the response.
