In this video, I will show you how to change the internal battery in this Chrysler 300 key Fob. This key Fob was used since 2011 and it's still used today and it just takes one CR 2032 battery. Battery. You can get one of these batteries on Amazon. I have left a link down in the description to pick one up for just a couple of bucks and then you could follow along with the video and do it yourself.

Super easy. Just start by removing your internal key. Find this keyhole and the slot beneath it. Take a flathead screwdriver or a coin, whatever you have that can fit in there. All we're going to do is insert and just twist twisting until we feel this starts to come apart.

And then what I like to do is go in that opening that we just made and go down twisting like that. So it comes apart nicely and we don't damage anything. Here's our battery. We're just going to come in from the side where there are these openings in the plastic and I just like to get beneath it, lift the battery up and you will see that it just flies right out. Take a new CR 2032 battery and make sure this positive side goes face down.

Position it in first, pushing it towards this metal component and then clicking the other side into place. Maybe miss that. Let's just do it again.

Go ahead, push it in towards the metal first. Click it down. Super easy. Now just reattach the two halves. Click it back together.

You will need to kind of squeeze it pretty hard just to make sure that there's no opening in that seam there. And then you can just put your key back in and you're all done. It's really simple guys. In this video, I will show you how to change the internal battery in a Chrysler 300 key Fob. This key Fob was used on 300s between 2008 and 2010 and takes one CR 2032 battery can change the battery yourself at home. It's really easy. All you need is one of these batteries. Can pick one up online. I have left a link to get one on Amazon down in the description.

It's just a couple of bucks and then just go ahead and follow along. First thing, we're going to look down to where this keyring is and you can see the seam there. That's how we're going to open it. Just take something like any flathead screwdriver. Even if you have something a little bit thinner that can help something smaller.

What we really want to do is where this hole is and where the seam is. Kind of go in on that corner, and then we just wiggle it in until we've started to create some separation there. See that? We've started to push the two halves apart, and now you can just go down. It's actually easier with a bigger one.

I'm going to use a larger flatter screwdriver. Just once you get it kind of stuck in like that. You can twist. See how easy that was? Work your way down, twisting until you can just pull it apart with your fingers like that.

Set this to the side. And now we just need to remove this piece of rubber with a circuit board beneath. And now we have access to the battery. Just take a flathead screwdriver, whatever tool you were using, or even just with your fingers push up from under the battery. There's our battery.

Go ahead and take a new CR 2032. Make sure the positive side goes face down. And what you want to do is push it into this metal component first, and then the other side will just pop into place like that. And that's really all it takes, guys. Super easy.

We're just going to put the rubber back on, make sure that sits in place, put this back on, positioning it, and just clicking it back together. And that's all it takes.
