  • 1x CR2032 battery
  • Flat-head screwdriver

Step 1

Hold down the button on side of the key fob and pull out the internal key.

Step 2

On the bottom of the key fob, there is a space between the metal key ring and the edge of the back half of the key fob. Once you locate this, insert your flat-head screwdriver into the area and carefully twist. The key fob will come apart.

Step 3

Now, that you have access to the old battery. Insert your precision screwdriver into the hole at the bottom of the battery housing, push it down, and the battery will pop right out. A toothpick also does the work here.

Step 4

Next, side in your new CR2032 battery and click it into place with the positive side face-up.

Step 5

Finally, click the two halves (back covers) of the key fob back together. Return the internal key and your key fob is good to go! Great job, there!

  • 1x CR2032 battery
  • Flat-head screwdriver

Step 1

The first thing is to locate the small indentation on the bottom-left side of the key fob. Take a flathead screwdriver, insert it into this slot, and turn it like a key. This will cause a separation on each side of the key fob.

Step 2

Now insert the same tool in the slightly separated side of the key fob. Gently work your way down by twisting the tool until the two halves of the device completely come apart. Separate them with your fingers and set aside.

Step 3

Next, carefully remove the rubber piece with the buttons on it.

Step 4

Time to remove the old battery. Place your screwdriver underneath the battery and carefully lift it up.

Step 5

Take a new CR2032 battery and click it into place ensuring the positive side faces down.

Step 6

Finally, put the rubber piece back in the right place and click the face of the device back on. Nice work! Do a final check to ensure there isn’t an indentation on the sides of the key fob. Remember to test the device to confirm it’s working perfectly.
