In this video, I will show you how to change the internal battery in this Dodge Journey key Fob. This key Fob was started on Journeys back in 2011 and is still used today and it takes whoops just one of these CR 2032 batteries. It's really easy to open this thing up and put a new battery in there yourself. All you will need is a flathead screwdriver and of course one of these batteries. If you'd like to pick one of those up online.

I have left a link in the description so you can get yourself a battery on Amazon for just a couple of bucks. So go ahead and click on that and then just follow along with me here. First step, flip this thing over, pull this switch down and remove your internal key. Excuse me. Now we can see the keyhole and just opposite that, a little slot, a little indentation.

Go ahead and put your flathead screwdriver in that area above the keyhole there and just gently twist. Okay? Just gently twist until you feel a little bit of a snap and you will see that you are starting to open this thing up. Now I like to go in that opening and just twist. Continue working my way down, twisting, twisting until it comes apart like that.

Now we can just go under with our flathead screwdriver or our fingernail and just kind of lift up the battery and it will pop out like that. Here we go. 2032. You can see it. Take a new one.

Make sure this positive side goes face down just like that and you just want to click it into place. And the rest is very simple. We're just going to click this back together. Takes a bit of effort, but you just squeeze until the whole opening along the seam is closed. Don't forget to put your internal key back in and that is all it takes.

It's really that simple. If you found this video helpful, feel free to give us a like or comment. And for more information on changing the batteries for any of your key Fob from any maker model, check out the rest of the videos here on YouTube or visit us at fobbattery.com. Thank you for watching.

Now, carefully remove the rubber piece. Next, use your finger or screwdriver to gently lift the battery out of its housing. Take a new CR2032 battery and click it into place positive side down. Finally, set the rubber buttons back on top and click the front piece of plastic back into place. That’s all it takes. In this video, I will show you how to change the internal battery of this Dodge Journey key Fob. This key Fob was used between 2009 and 2016 and it takes one of these CR 2032 batteries. All you will need is one of these batteries and a flathead screwdriver. And if you'd like to pick one of these up online, I have left a link down in the description so you can get one on Amazon for just a couple of bucks. So go ahead and click that link and then just follow along with me here.

It's very easy going to look down to where this keyring is. You can see this indentation in the plastic and then follow the seam along there until you kind of meet that corner. You see that right there. Easiest thing to do is just take a flathead screwdriver and go in that corner with a little bit of pressure. It will stick in there and allow you to just twist your screwdriver until you feel a little bit of a click.

And you can see. Now we've created an opening and we can just pull it apart with our fingertips just like that. Now take these buttons, these little rubber buttons and carefully remove them. Set them to the side. Here's our battery.

It's really easy to just lift it out with your finger and as you see it's 2032 battery. Take a brand new one. Positive side goes face down just like before and you just want to click it into place until it sits in there nicely. Now put it all back together. Rubber part with the buttons just sits on top until it sits into place and it doesn't go anywhere.

And then this comes right back and with a click you can see it is all set. Super easy, guys. If you found that video helpful, feel free to give us a like or comment.
