The Ford Flex reminds me of my old Scion xB, but on steroids. The large box of an SUV has massive room and visibility, and thankfully, some pretty easy key fob batteries to change! The Flex has had just two key models in it’s first decade of life, and both take the small CR 2032 battery. If you have another Ford car, check out our Ford Fob Batteries guide.

How to replace the Ford Flex 2019 – 2019 remote key fob battery

This combo key/remote is not a “smart” key, but does contain the same internal CR2032 battery as the other Ford Flex fob. This one will need to be pulled apart into two pieces to access the internal battery to replace. My video shows you exactly how to do that:
- One pack of (4) lithium coin cell batteries; CR2032 cell size
- 8-year leak-free shelf life, ideal for watches, calculators, key fobs, Apple TV remotes, and other small electronics
- Replacement for BR2032, DL2032, and ECR2032
