The Ford ranger has been in the Ford lineup of trucks since the mid-90’s and is still in production today. It did have an 8 year gap though! Just coming back recently. It has only had 3 different Ford fobs though over the years. I guess truck people aren’t too fancy? Who knows. How to replace the Ford Ranger 2011 remote key fob battery

This is the last fob before the newer revival of the Ranger. This key / fob combo takes a simple CR2032 battery to replace. The key here is splitting the fob into two pieces to access the battery inside. Here’s my video that show you how to do that:
