What you will need:
• 1x CR2032 battery
• Flat-head screwdriver
Start by locating the small indentation on the bottom of the key fob where the key ring is located. Take your flat-head screwdriver and insert it into the groove. Twist the screwdriver to create a separation between the two halves of the plastic casing. Use your fingers to pull apart the two halves, opening the key fob and exposing the battery.
Now that you have the key fob open, you can easily remove the battery with your flat-head screwdriver. With the key ring facing up, insert your screwdriver under the battery, wiggling up from the bottom. The battery should pop right out.
Next, we will replace the battery. Put your new CR2032 battery into place on the back half of the fob. Make sure your battery goes onto the “+” mark face down. Push the battery to click it into place. Finally, put the two halves of the key fob back together. That’s it!
