The small compact xA by Scion was only produced for a few years, but has a cult following of sorts. The model only has one key fob type, a remote entry no integrated key, 2-button fob. How to replace the xA (2004-2006) key fob battery
The key to opening the fob is the small notch on the top of the remote. You’ll need a flathead screwdriver to leverage the two parts of the fob apart at this point.
